From your first call to keys in hand.
One accountable team from the first question to your Certificate of Occupancy — no handoffs, no surprises. Here's exactly how a backyard home comes together with us, step by step.
- 01
Free property & zoning review
No costWe start by confirming your lot qualifies. We check your parcel against New Hampshire's by-right ADU law (RSA 674:71–73), your town's setbacks, and anything that could complicate a build — then tell you straight whether it's a green light. No cost, no obligation.
- 02
On-site assessment
$250 · credited to your buildWe come walk your property. We look at where your utilities and septic run, soil and ledge, equipment access, grade, and exactly where your ADU sits best. You get a clear read on your site — and the $250 is credited straight back toward your all-in price when you build.
- 03
Design & your all-in price
3% design fee · creditedWe match you to one of our ten architect-designed models — or build around a custom design of your own — and tailor it to your site and budget. A 3% design fee covers your drawn, engineered plans and is credited toward your build, just like your deposit and site assessment. You leave this step with a fixed, all-in price and no guesswork. Need financing? We help you line it up.
- 04
Permitting
We prepare and file the applications, handle the town paperwork, and coordinate every approval through to your building permit. Because your ADU is by-right, this is usually paperwork — not hearings — and we manage all of it for you.
- 05
The build
12–16 weeksPermit in hand, we break ground. Sitework and foundation, your ADU set and made weather-tight, systems and interior finish, then final grading and landscaping. It runs the same calendar every time.

Walkthrough & keys
Town final inspection, Certificate of Occupancy, and a walkthrough with you for any punch-list items. Then keys in hand — you can have a tenant moved in by the end of that week.
Your deposit reserves your build and is credited toward your all-in price. From there, payments follow real milestones — foundation, weather-tight, finish, and final keys — so what you pay always tracks what's actually been done. No surprise fees between the day you lock your build and the day you get the keys.

Tell us where you're building. We'll confirm what your lot allows under NH law and walk you through the next steps — no cost, no pressure.
